I was appalled by the Jejune ABHORRENT behaviour of the Conservative senators voting down very reasonable amendments to Bill C-36, as I watched in horror on live web-cast from December 7, 2010 until today. We must stop Bill C-36. It's poorly drafted, poorly worded, increases secrecy, decreases due process and court supervision. It has to go. Refer to my previous emails on this subject, sent to you last week.

This is my Canada. I'm not going to let some foreign government dictate how I run it. REMOVE ALL REFERENCE TO FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS IN BILL C-36.

You, as a trustee to the power of Canadian Citizens as a nation, do not have a mandate from your principles (us citizens) to eliminate the rule of law and bring in a totalitarian police state under a regime of secret guns-drawn raids on homes and businesses. The senate is suppose to be a chamber of sober second thought. And yet, you vote against these amendments proposed by Senator Day and Senator Banks like you are drunk with power. That is totally unacceptable. You would not even consider correcting GRAMMATICAL ERRORS? WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT ABOUT?

Christmas can wait. Due process can't. Due process is much more important than political expediency. Don't steal my Canada! I demand you support the Liberal amendments and restore the rule of law in your effort to in principle support consumer safety.

Preferably I want this legislation to die on the order paper. It is completely unnecessary as our current hazardous products act is doing just fine, thank you very much.

We demand to be heard. Let us speak on this bill.
